The Basilica of Saint Vicente is built outside the city walls, in the place where tradition tells that Vicente, Sabina and Cisteta where martyrized and buried during Diocleciano’s persecution, the last and most cruel of the Christianity persecutions during the Roman Empire. It is a unique building among Hispanic Romanesque.
